How does car leasing work?
When you lease a new car or van it is essentially the same as a long term rental. Most offers are cheaper monthly when taken over a longer period such as 3 or 4 years, but some makes and models have 24 month contracts that are equally as competitive.
The price is affected by the amount of mileage required annually and you can choose to add a maintenance package to your lease.
Whilst an upfront payment is mandatory, you can choose to pay a smaller deposit and spread your rentals equally or you can pay more up front and reduce the monthly cost, the total works out the same but you get the flexibility of how you pay.
At the end of the contract you simply hand the car back.
Maintenance & Tyre packages for your in stock lease car
With all vehicle contracts we offer the option to upgrade and include a maintenance pack which in most cases also includes worn tyre replacement. Please request this when enquiring to view the rates!
A maintenance pack will also extend your breakdown cover from 12 months to full duration. Services are carried out at main dealer at your convience, nothing to pay on the day!
What are the current lead times on ordering new cars?
It had been well documented that lead times on new cars in the past few years since Covid-19 have suffered greatly. This pandemic alongside the global chip shortage has meant new cars have been sitting part finished awaiting completion for far longer than anyone would like. However that is slowly coming to an end and we are seeing much better lead times on almost all vehicles, including electric cars.
We generally have stock availble of models such as the Fiat 500, Vauxhall Corsa, Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Tucson. As well as premium models such as VW, Audi, BMW & Mercecedes - Benz
Factory order lead time on most vehicle is between 10 and 20 weeks, with electric cars typically being closer to 20 weeks. So whats the answer?
